The Mark Richey Woodworking factory in coastal Newburyport, Mass., where WallGoldfinger Furniture is exclusively made, is built to foster a healthy natural and employee environment.

 

The 130,000-square-foot facility features wide open spaces, natural light, state-of-the-art dust collection and air systems, and ample automation, including an automated finish system that was the first of its kind in the nation. The high-tech work space also has two 5-axis CNC routers.

The factory is completely powered by renewable energy, including an onsite windmill and solar panels, and is heated during the cold weather months by a high-temperature waste wood burner.
